Interesting you take Collins over Sirles.

I would put 1 more LB on the team and one less DL or DB. I think that kid Wilson may sneak in, or I guess they could bring back Lamur though he pretty much looks like a well-done steak these days.

Sirles should make the team. He's very versatile, has played every position on the line I believe other than C. Collins will probably have to go to PS.

Also, doesn't Floyd almost have to make the team?? I mean they went to the trouble of sticking up for him with the whole Tea-gate dealio. He has made some nice catches during preseason too. I guess maybe they slide Adams onto the practice squad when Floyd comes back. I think Coley is better than Adams and he should make the 53.

Not sure what Jones or Sutton have shown to make the final roster...Michael Floyd is a lock to make the team...

Definitely time to speculate with the cutdown nearing.

QB: Agree, but I wonder if they only want 2 and picked up Leidner because Heinicke isn't eligible for PS?
RB: Agree - but here's an area the Vikings might get help via waiver wire. I like Ham but I'm not sure Shurmur has any plans for a FB.
WR: I think Jarius Wright remains while Floyd is suspended. But I think Coley and Adams are competing for the same spot, and Coley is ahead as a WR. Adams has not won the KR job (I think McKinnon has) or PR, so I think he goes to the PS.
TE: Agree; could keep 4, though.
OL: Agree with most of your 9 except Collins. I think they will keep Sirles as a versatile backup and put Collins on PS. Would not be surprised if they keep 10.
DL: Too many (10), specifically too many DTs (5). Sutton didn't win a roster spot with his preseason sack. Why keep both Tom Johnson and Datone Jones, who are the same (part-time) role? You also need to add Shamar Stephen as insurance for Linvalle Joseph at NT.
LB: I would like to see only 5 but I have a hunch Zimmer will keep 6. Barr, Kendricks, Gedeon, and Robinson are likely. I doubt Brothers, who has been hurt all camp, will make the team. Eric Wilson has been impressive.
DB: Also too many (11) - 3 backup safeties? Kearse is locked behind Smith and Sendejo (or pushing the latter), but then Exum or Harris, but not both. At CB, we probably do keep 6 but not sure how much they like Price. I think we will claim a CB.

good points all. as to the minutia:

tea lover will start on the suspended list. not sure if that burns a roster spot

ima Collins pimp after he blew up the combine and i watched some videos. im ousting sirles because izzy and easton look to be be better guards and easton plays C also.

im thinking Jjohn and Sutton can backup the nose so Stephen is out. i thought Datone showed up on the SF game enough to hang on

i think exum sticks cause of position flexibility. Harris and Price definately on the fringe

i like beavers, wilson and odinigbo but dont see room for them

Floyd won't count during the suspension.

But either Datone or Sutton are cut IMO.  Sutton was running with the 3s, wasn't he?  Sirles makes the team.  Valuable swing guy.

Stephen makes the team.  He is a NT to backup Joseph and can play the 3 in a pinch.

Doesn't he have to be on the final 53 first, then get moved to the suspended list? I've probably got that wrong.

I think his suspension starts the week before the first game.  Likely right after cuts.  Because when he comes back, he is eligible the week of practice before his first eligible game.

No, he can be added to the Suspended list right away and not count against the 53 man roster.
