He is already saying that he could be benched or not finish the season, so maybe he is predetermining this.

So it took 3 years of Kirk for Zimmer to realize he does this consistently!  He calls the play and that is it, does not survey the defense or think about changing it up, whatever is called in the huddle is going to be run regardless of where the defense is.  The one pass yesterday with the defenders hand in his face that he threw right into his hand was pretty much a signature throw for him.

This is anfailure of being able to do a savvy pre-snap read.  He should be able to have a pretty good idea which reciever in his progression should come free.  He has a problem with anticipation as a result throws to the guy he is supposed to not the guy most likely to be open.
