Reboot this shit show
#1
time to blow this entire thing up. This is a disaster and all we have to show for it is the height of mediocrity.
Is this thing on?

Totally agree, 2nd half looked just like the first two debacles.

Sad but true. It was nice to see Jefferson do well. The OL is same old same old. Cousins is Cousins and the defense is still sad.

Owner made a huge mistake (I tried to tell him but he never listens, lol) doubling down on Rick/Zim, who then compounded that with the awful Cousins extension and a series of win-now moves that are just part of the overall failure.

Youve said it a few times now MO, and you are  def getting closer to being right. This D is not going to stop anyone until perhaps Hunter comes back.

Our O did great until we took JJ Out for Ham, why?  we also made critical penalties, and allowed critical pressures again by our interior line. We also were more conservative on D in the 2nd half and rately showed multille bkitz looks.

We also made critical mistakes going for 2 way to early in the game and missing a field goal after a critical penalty on out backup LT.

KC is a good not great QB. He cannot put the game on his back.

Z is a good but not great coach. He is good with players and a proven winner, but he hasnt shown he can take an opportune risk. When we had the missed field goal, it wouldve been a great time to try a fake, decent field position, 2 penalties in a row, tendencies

Spielman is a good but not great GM.

This team will be competitive with Hunter back and will always be competitive under Z and Speilly, Im just not sure we will ever go all the way with Z and Spielman. So if that makes it time to move on, so be it I guess.

I think you’d better pin this @Mike Olson cause it’s gonna be a while, likely this season & next at least, imo...

competitive hasn't been good enough for me for years

0/3? First time for this franchise since 2013. And that was a REALLY BAD YEAR.

Vikes have some nice pieces, but not enough in the trenches, where it counts most.

It truly is time to blow-it-up and grab one of those nice, franchise ceiling QB's. Finishing with 5 or 6 wins is purgatory. F that.

The problem is weak up the middle on both sides of the ball. A talent infusion is needed so bad there. Kirk is Kirk. I just hope they get a chance at one of the top 3 QBs in April.

I agree.  Cousins keeps hitting his head on his ceiling of mediocrity.  He has once again great stats yet cannot close because he is not a leader or an improvisor.   How in the world do you not target JJ hardly at all in the first two games when his talent is oozing out if every pore?

I honestly am not mad about the loss it means a better draft pick for a QB with a Superbowl ceiling that has actual leadership skills.  my nightmare is if  the team rallies and hits 8-8 or 7-9 just outside the striking range for one of the top QBs in the draft.
