Shows you how much the Saints value him with that cap situation they're facing. Maybe it wont be too bad if this is Brees' last year.

Guessing the 5th year with no dead money on it is a huge number like $25 million that the Saints will either renegotiate or release him before he gets it.

For all the talk about supposedly NOT paying RBs......they are all getting paid. Mixon, Kamara, Cook, etc. all got nice contracts.

Yep, so many people overreact to a couple of backs whose contracts ended up being wasted money. The NFL clearly did not.

JMO, but these guys are perfection for the new NFL offense: have to catch. Shifty and speedy but sturdy. Have to. Look how good David Johnson looks now that he's slimmed down. Johnson's contract was stupid but he's going to produce for them. 

I think Cook is the best RB in the NFL.
