Schefty: Dalvin Will Hold Out Without a "Reasonable" Deal

Can he at least get his annual injury before he starts the hold out?

If he's still under contract: trade him. He's talented and special... but we've had talented and special RBs before. Mattis is pretty good in his own right... and we can get other, not-quite-as-good RBs in the draft and FA scrap heap. He's not worth it.

Didnt the new CBA have language that stopped holdouts or made them much less intriguing to the players?

I thought so Jimmy. Interested to see how this ends.

My second thought?

I think a new deal gets worked out by the start of training camp.

Depends what "reasonable" is. I'm feeling good at keeping him at $8.5M. Anything above $10M I'm repulsed about.
