Dantzler put on a bunch of bad weight at the combine. He measured 6-2, 188, which is still very light, but might be a good 10 to 15 lbs over his natural weight. With all that donut weight on his frame he couldn't get under 4.64 in the forty. A month later, at his pro day, and down to his natural weight, he (supposedly) ran a 4.38.

4.38 is probably closer to his real speed, but 175 is closer to his real weight. Can a corner measuring 6-2, 175 play in the NFL? Man, I don't think so. He looks SO good on film, but I wouldn't be surprised if he red shirts in '20 until he can put 15-20 lbs of good weight on his frame.

If Trae Waynes is a 190 lbs., I'll shit a brick. These 2 look very similar Dantzler is taller, but even if you add 5 lbs. of muscle, he's more than able to play at that musculature in the NFL. Waynes has a thin build and has put some hits on people. CBs in today's NFL are mostly about pass coverage anyway. If he's got 4.4 speed for real, this kid might be a SOD type.
