Apologize if this has already been thrown out there, Aaron Rodgers is Minnesota's Starting QB in 2021.
Crazy? Meh. Le-Idiot and Not Old Enough to Shave GM appear to have some sort of indestructible force field that prevents them from getting shitcanned for how incompetent they are. They clearly don't think Rodgers is the right fit for whatever the hell it is that they want to do.
Aaron will play off script again, cuz he's a Prima Donna and hates what the organization has done with his career. This time they don't luck into a great record. The media feasts. Aaron poutes. He needs out. They want him out.
Meanwhile, Minnesota predictably misses the Playoffs. Call it a Rebuild (me). Call it Retooling (You). Call it 1 Step back to take 2 steps forward (Geoff). Replacing 7 Starters, no matter how shitty, with Rookie, 2nd and 3rd Year Players is tough. And several Players that saw snaps in most or every game. Hell, the turnover is going to really challenge the Special Teams as the bare minimum.
Season doesn't pan out quite right. Cousins is typical Cousins. The W/L stats for the bugaboo crap like Teams over .500, Prime Time Games etc., pretty much stays the same. And think the big Escape Clause with Kirk is next year, IIRC.
Rodgers wants out. He respects Zimmer's Defense. Sees a young O-Line turning into what he used to have. Sees echoes of Nelson and Adams in the Receivers Corps. Sees how well Kubiak orchestrates run and pass. And helped Manning get his 2nd Trophy.
Might Aaron look to force his way to the Vikings? Might he be looking to enact revenge AND echo Favre's footsteps, knowing it will lead to like 400 commercials? Might the arrogant idiots running the Packers go for it?
If, if, if, if it were all possible. And Rodgers still has something left in the tank, which is plausible since he clearly hates the system he's in now. Would you do it?
Imma duck now. Talk amongst yourselves.
