Stafford is good, but Lions are going to regret not taking Tua...

I think I was the only Vikings fan concerned they'd pull the trigger on the wunder-kid from Bama.

Too high of a pick to gamble with Stafford on the roster? With the injury history?

Man, if my medical staff said he was good to go...

Staffords fine, but he certainly doesn't elevate his team at all.  He's like the definition of mediocre.  He'll win some, he'll lose some, they'll be perpetually subpar.  They just really need to surround him with a competent team to get good results, similar to what we have to do with Cousins, but they suck at that.  I would have taken Tua in a heartbeat, and let him sit a year behind Stafford.

This is probably old, 'where did I put my pencils' last year anyway. Then they will be starting over again. Not unlike the Bears, there is always the odd chance they will hire someone who is competent, but unlikely.

I think Tua will be a work in progress. He ain't Russell Wilson. Overrated.

Not to worry, they will be in position for Lawrence or Fields next year...

Tua is a great talent wrapped up in gauze and pre wrap,  I doubt he will ever be more than a college legend.   The lions franchise is littered with regrets but I dont think this is one of them.

I have always liked Stafford. Very underrated IMO and he's 31.
