Aaron Rodgers on @PatMcAfeeShow: "We haven't picked a skill player in the first round in 15 years, so that would be kind of cool."

Rodgers says whoever the pick is, he'll track down his phone number and welcome him to the team tonight -- if the Packers don't trade out.

I am pissed as it is 2005 all over again. I hope the next crew in here understands the value of a proper QB and system until then it will be looking up at the Packers.

At least he can lean on family in these troubling times.

NE has no QB at 23 and they trade the pick to the Packers who draft a QB that they didn't need........

In the win now department,  this pick doesn't help GB .

26. Packers, QB Jordan Love, Utah StateGrade: D. Terrible move by the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers told me last summer he wants to play until he's 40. They needed a receiver. They needed defensive help. Sitting behind Rodgers will do Love well, but not going to do the Packers well. You're on the cusp of getting to a Super Bowl, get Rodgers some help.

I loved and hated the move.  I loved that Rodgers head probably exploded and there were no refs around to make him feel better,  I hate that the packers got themselves another damn good QB prospect to potentially keep them relevant for another decade +

At least we now know who'll be the heir to Cousins...

That right there is interesting...  the Patriots can say all they want about Stidham, but they had an opportunity to add a good prospect in Love and PASSED.  He's a boom or bust pick IMO...  he actually reminds me a lot of Brett Hundley.

I'm not too worked up about the Packers getting him.  I wasn't a fan of Love pre-draft and I think the Packers wasted an opportunity to get an impact player to help out their team this season.

The only QBs I liked in this draft were Burrow, Tua, and Hurts.  I think Herbert will be a disappointment and I don't think Love will be a long term starter...
