Does the prospect of drafting Diggs brother......
#1
make anyone else just the slightest bit nervous? Given the way it all went down?

I understand that NFL players are professionals, but some are more “professional” than others.
Before the trade (not knowing Diggs had requested a trade) I thought maybe having his brother on the team may cool Stephon’s angst toward his role (given that 57 million couldnt)

Maybe I worry too much

Yes. Because he didn't play like a 1st Round talent at Bama but is very unlikely to be available at Minnesota's 2nd Round pick. If he's on the team they either reached with one of the 1st Round picks or burned picks to move up in the 2nd to get him.

Also, he reportedly idolizes his brother so the well has likely already been poisoned against the Vikings.

That would be a consideration, but I am sure the FO would heavily weigh that in the vetting process.

is this the same brother that photoshopped and posted a picture of Diggs in a Redskins jersey a year ago?  I would steer clear of that family unless i just wanted to feed them a shit burger,  but the draft capitol would be too high for petty shit like that.

He is his own person and may not harbor the same frustrations towards the organization as his brother, so you still need to evaluate him fairly, but when looking at two similarly rated players, I'd definitely take someone from another family over Diggs' brother.

Yep. All things equal, just draft someone else. It would be shocking if the Vikings draft Trevon.

jimmy ya beat me to it---any brother that posted photos of his brother in other gear is not on my radar  The well is poisoned ,  but hell have a sip.

I'd just steer clear of him altogether, unless he was a massive steal on a day 2 or 3 pick.  Where we're likely to be able to pick him, there's going to be an equally good pick at a position of need that doesn't have this red flag.  You know Stephon is going to be pointing out every little flaw in the Vikings over the phone our at Holidays or whatever.  It's just not worth the slight difference between him and the next best player.

ok thanks, I was thinking I personally wouldnt go after him, because of the “situation”, but was afraid I was alone in my thinking.
