With 43.4 mil remaining in cap space they have plenty to sign Harris, Waynes or Alexander, Bailey, Colquitt, Ham, and any others.

It does not include a QB extension either.

I am personally hoping they can sign Joe Thuney as the #1 target.

They have a lot of work to do but a lot of it was honestly done years ago. They have plenty of flexibility to not only get under the cap but retain some of their own guys and shop around the edges of free agency. The new CBA will actually be a major contributing factor in how things shape up for MN in the next month or two. Without clarity on how cap roll-over will work moving forward teams are going to be encouraged to spend up to the cap. Basically, use it or lose it. Hopefully that gets addressed shortly.

Do you think the Vikings are ready to move on from Elflein?  Would they spend north of 10 mil for Thuney?

They need to do something because the draft is not going to provide the answer.

They'll likely need to draft along the O-line, doubt they are going to get into many bidding wars this off-season. I suppose you can't say it "impossible" to make it work if they wanted to kick cap money into the future. E.G make the cap hit $3-4M in 2020. But that just isn't the Vikings contractual M.O. 

Elflein is probably viewed as a replacement play at this point. But there is probably still a better shot you find a day one starter at left-guard in the draft vs. LT. To make Thuney even a remote possibility they'd need to move on from Reiff.
