We need to draft a mobile QB

with pocket awareness and see if the accuracy develops.  It adds such a dimension to a modern offense.

Cousins is a good QB, but the best qb’s in todays game have that extra dimension

agree. Cousins is good, but not a long term solution. Anyone available in the draft? If so, could we move up to get him?

I mentioned this a few days ago as well. I do not think we'll draft a QB in the first round, because reasons.
So you may as well draft a guy with huge upside and hope for the best. That means big arm and mobile.

If we don't improve the interior line on both sides of the ball we can draft Peyton Manning's clone and we'll suck.

It begins and ends with the line.

For next season, sure. But we'd have Peyton Manning's clone for a career.

This team needs a lot of things.  OL. DT, QB, DB, LB.  I know last week felt good,  but we need to make some hard decisions on the direction of this team from the top down.

I am afraid that if they try and band aid this shit to try and get another run we are just delaying the inevitable.  We are good enough to be stuck in purgatory.  I would rather have a 3-13 year or two and know that we are reloading for a real chance,  overpaying declining vets isnt the answer IMO.

This is not on Cousins.  OL simply could not pass pro. DL could not stop the run.  Both lines sucked plain and simple.  That’s what we should be looking at in the draft. We can’t give away the store for one player—even a QB.  We have too many needs on both sides of the line of scrimmage.  And we can’t look in FA because we are capped out.

Hey, maybe we could get Slotter back!! Huge arm and quite mobile! He’s well seasoned by now, like a steak ready for the bbq!!

This I 100% agree with. But I can't agree with @Ralphie 's comment saying it begins and ends with the line. It begins there, sure. But it doesn't end there.

Kirk was under duress all day, so that's a giant problem. But it's a problem that good defenses are going to be able to do. So you can either build the best O-line ever or you can try to find a mobile QB. It's debatable which option is easier.

If it was easy to find a franchise qb, we would have had one in between Favre and KC. It just aint.

QB and OL have plagued this team for what seems forever. Part of it is snakebite (see Brigdewater and Bradford) and part of it is just incompetency in the org for whatever reason.

I'd love to see Tua in purple, but that aint going to happen.

I think they'll do what they can to improve the OL, extend Cousins and maybe draft a qb mid round or lower to develop.
