Seems like bringing in a young stud lit a fire under the aging horse.

I was a Rudy doubter, but there's no debate he's having a good year. Made some great catches. The thing is he JUST turned 30 years old in November, so he's not that old (he just seems like he's been around forever). Not every team can have a Travis Kelce or George Kittle.

I think it's the Stefanski/Kubiak Effect.  They know Rudy's strengths and are setting him up.  It's actually funny watching him in the Red Zone with a tiny CB or safety trying to cover him.

Ok so I over simplify. Good thing they don't shoot lame horse references.

It isn't some sort of fire lit or sudden resurgence. It's simply opportunities.
 1st 5 games, 1.6 targets/game.
 Last 7 games, 4.7 targets/game.
