A lot of ridiculous rumors on Twitter right now...along with a few that make you wonder. And now Diggs was apparently not at practice today.

I'm going to guess injured. Just out of practice. I saw the rumors yesterday, but they make no sense. Trading Diggs to New England? I don't see it.

If they did trade Diggs now they would save $9,368,750 (less whatever they paid him thru 4 weeks) and would incur a $9,000,000 dead cap hit in 2020 making it a wash.
From a cap perspective it does nothing.
And then, who would be the #2 WR? Bisi Johnson?

There's some weird backwards psychology going on here. All he posted was an emoticon - it's obviously bullshit. Yet, Boston sites are running articles about roster shuffling to acquire him. Nobody would read that much into an emote to think it meant their team was trading for him... yet... here we are lol...

Talk has been on there for a week or so. Slow news cycle, they are looking for things to hype up.

This is where I come out. The Vikings have no one to step in and fill his spot, so it's safe to assume they don't want to trade him.
If he requests a trade that's another story. Not sure what the Vikings would do in that scenario, or what fair compensation would even be.
I like Diggs so I hope whatever is going on gets ironed out.

There were rumors about him being traded to Washington last summer. But they were started by online rubes. There has never been a scintilla of evidence that any trade was ever being considered.

its interesting how he is as healthy as ever, yet he was missing OTAs and now is missing practices for no apparent reason and even the team wont say. if it was injury or family related they would say, this may be something more than fake smoke. his overall demeanor lately is more than suggesting that he isnt happy.

about the only one that could squash these rumors and thoughts would be Diggs himself IMO.
