The one thing I cant understand with the Trump supporters is this....
Put every issue aside be it ... Clinton, Russia, Climate, shady deals etc....
Every person that has ever run for president provided their tax returns to the public. I mean EVERY presidential candidate except Trump. Have the trump supporters ever wondered:
  1.  Why Trump has never produced his tax returns?
  2. Why he lied that he would produce them after the so called audit?
  3. Why he is going at any length to prevent the taxes from being public?
Every rational being, would do all in their power to clear their name if they were being accused of something they did not do.
I always resort to this because everything you mention to them is a hoax and some deep state conspiracy.
what are you expecting to see in his tax returns?
That's a great question.... nothing. It was not a "thing" till he refused to show them and made it a thing. Like I said... every candidate did. You have to wonder why he is not and also going to great lengths to make sure they never go public.
personally... i think he is doing it to screw with his haters... its just like obama and his fucking birth certificate bull shit,  he could have shut that shit down early and quickly,  but he let it be a thing for a long time because it drove some of his haters nuts.

if there was anything wrong in his tax returns,  the irs would have been all up his ass IMO prior to the election.   the worst thing will be that it will show that he doesnt pay shit in taxes... but honestly,  who pays more than they have to according to law?  Buffet is a die hard dem and he himself says he spends as much as he has to on lawyers and accountants to pay as little as he has to according to the laws.

as far as the height thing, i never heard anything about that, its the small hands thing that I thought was funny as shit....of course I have huge hands so????

Something to remember is...businessmen design their tax returns to....pay as little tax as possible.
....politicians design their tax returns for 'public consumption'.

When I was a young adult, I got to play a round of golf with a somewhat wealthy businessman.
He was cussin' and cursing' the whole round, mainly cuz he sucked.  But at the end of the round he apologized as he was stressed as he was under IRS audit that week.
"And I told my CPA...if I'm not writing them a check for thousands after it's over...you (CPA) didn't do your job!"  That admission was an eye-opener.

Any politician (should) pay their taxes...and more.  And make sure to donate mucho to charity.  It "looks good".
Businesspeople should also pay their taxes...but they usually file to take every tax advantage possible.
Don't blame me...blame the 70,000 page tax code.

And what was Trump's bailiwick?  Real estate.  New York City real estate... the most lucrative/volatile real estate in the country.
The tax consequences of real estate capital gains and losses are myriad.  Throw in a real estate investor like Trump navigating thru the NYC RE crises of 1995 and 2008...and
suffice to say... Trump's taxes are COMPLICATED.
I doubt many of us would be able to understand them, if they were made public.

Did you know the NYTimes once celebrated Trump as the "comeback kid", after the 1995 RE crisis?  https://www.nytimes.com/1995/10/25/nyreg...-king.html
Did you know if you sell RE "investment property" at a loss...you can deduct the loss from your taxes?   Usually as a % each yr, over time... until you've reached the amount of loss?
Did you know if you sell "personal property" at a loss...you can deduct a % as a "one-time" loss on that year's taxes?

Point is, Trump as a NYC RE playa has to have an incredibly complex tax return.
And he's probably paying millions in CPA/Tax attorney fees.
And if they're doing they're jobs...at the end of the audits...Trump probably expects to be writing checks to the US Treasury in the millions.

Bottom like, like Jimmy said... I guarantee you the IRS is "all-over" DJT.  And at first blush, I bet much of Trump's returns is not "flattering"...as a politician.  Businesspeople may be high-fiving
his ass, tho.

I'll make you a deal, just for fun. I don't know your schedule, maybe you've got a lot on your plate, but if you've got some free time, let's each read a book by the other's choosing. I'm not sure there's anything out there you've read that you think fairly encapsulates why Trump has been wronged/why he's innocent.

I just ordered Proof Of Conspiracy by Seth Abramson. It was delivered today. I can't vouch for it since I haven't cracked it open yet (and won't until tomorrow night), but I feel pretty confident that it's solid based on what I've heard from friends. If you can think of anything, tell me and I'll order it and read it if you'll do the same about Proof Of Conspiracy.

Yeah, that's a time commitment with a total stranger on a message board, so definitely feel free to tell me to go fuck myself ha.

It's a Deal!

Happens to coincide with my slowest time of year.  (Oct thru mid-Dec)

I work a block from a Barnes/Noble.
I'll go tomorrow and buy "proof of conspiracy"- Abramson.  I promise.

I would like you to buy/read the Bible...but that aint happening.  Smile

So...I'll give you the choice between 3, since you proffered the challenge.
  1. The Russia Hoax:  The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump https://www.amazon.com/Russia-Hoax-Illic...0062872745
  2. Ball of Collusion  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079C2...taft_p1_i0
  3. Liberty & Tyranny  https://www.amazon.com/Liberty-Tyranny-C...1416562877
You pick.

The problem with complete fucking idiots is that they don't know they're complete fucking idiots. They're impervious to criticism, learning, etc.

He'll remain a complete fucking idiot because it's easier for him.
you both are out of this discussion.  this place will be kept civil or it wont be kept.  take some time off on  the subject and cool down before re-engaging.

if anybody wants to join them,  retaliate and the results will be the same.

KB & A1 both PM'd me...and they're sorry & both realize  you were right to give them a hiatus.

A1's agreed to not say "cockmonkeys" again.
KB's agreed not to call A1 a "complete fucking idiot".

If I vouch for them, will you let em back?   Smile

My voucher:

You can't be using that as a buttress to your point.  32,000 emails missing...HRC offers up 15,000 more
"Nearly 15,000 emails recovered by the FBI from the private server used by Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state are set to be made public just before the presidential election in November, it emerged in court on Monday."

Yeah, ya got A1.  "How dare you ask St Hillary for 32,000 emails, when she's over/above proffered 15K out of the 32K."
Those  17K remaining  emails, were never released.
Why didn't the Guardian ever report that?

Couldn't possibly be anything remaining in the remaining 17k emails.

17 thousand remaining.  Is that a lot?

Looks like we will be lifting sanctions from Russia. Ukraine folding. How convenient.

Quote:Disaster for Ukraine. President Zelenskyy has agreed to the 'Steinmeier Formula' which which will see Ukrainian defenders withdraw from the battlefront in Donbas and Russian invaders allowed to remain.

Zelenskyy refused to say why Ukraine is surrendering.

Is it setting in yet?
