Like I've said before, I think the "record against winning teams" thing is probably a bullshit stat. At best it's misleading. I'm curious what all QBs records are against winning teams. I know some would look great. Brady, probably, because he plays for a good team and he's pretty good. I don't know. But we have to remember that Cousins played 6 seasons for a crap team.

Agreed.  The Patriots started 1-2 last year, so Matt Stafford and Blake Bortles did not get credited with winning a game against a wining team....or some teams start out with a cake schedule, have a winning record, and then sh1t the bed later.  Should those wins count?  Stupid stat.....

I thought I read it was tabulated at the end of the season? If you played a shitty browns team game 2 when they were 1-0 and ended up 3-13 it wouldn't tell the true value of the win, but just getting beat by the browns is telling in those years of disparity!

fun fact. one is a superbowl champion and superbowl/league MVP the other has only made one playoff appearance
Vikings fans are #1 in consoling themselves in bullshit stats like these. Unfortunately, this "fun fact" is as meaningless as all the other "facts" that indicate the Vikings are a "championship" team. LMAO!

FUN FACT Part Deux : When I started following the Vikings in the late '60's (in the Bronx), the following teams were considered either jokes, or habitual LOSERS : Buccaneers, Saints, Patriots, 49'er's, Giants, Redskins, Rams, Bears, and Packers. The Ravens, Panthers and Titans didn't even exist.

And yet ALL of those franchises have managed to at least make a SB, and in many cases have WON a SB, and in some cases have won MULTIPLE SB's.

I understand the "border war" stuff with native Vikings fans, but when I started rooting for the VIkes, the rest of the (at that time) Central division SUCKED. I was more concerned about Dallas and LA. The fact that the Saints and Buccaneers have won a SB before the Vikings is beyond pathetic.

I will applaud this franchise when they actually DELIVER a championship. Until then, I'll simply look upon them as the documented losers that they are....hope for the best, but expect the worst. It's a LOT easier that way, trust me!
