5-4. Wow. I mean, this team got figured out. They are struggling to win games. And they have a bunch of tough games left on the schedule.
What's going on with the L.A. Rams?

I think Belichick figured them out and showed the rest of the league how to contain them. Plus I've always thought that Goff was vastly overrated as well.
I think it's interesting that neither of the two young coaching "geniuses", McVay or Nagy, have been able to adjust and respond to defenses learning how to play them.

I'll tell you, my favorite young coach is Kyle Shanahan: I think that is one smart dude. Innovative and unpredictable. The most underrated is John Harbaugh, by a mile. He's got something interesting going on over there in Baltimore.

I think their OL has gone to sh!t too. Goff doesn't have all day to throw, and their running game isn't scaring anyone. We know how well QBs and offenses work when there isn't anyone being blocked.

Living in LA, I can tell you that a lot of the Rams issues is about the offensive line. Andrew Whitworth got old real quick (he is now 37) -- he is playing poorly. Sullivan is gone (physically he was struggling last year but he still was the brains behind the line calls, etc.) The new starting center was injured yesterday. Starting guard Joe Noteboom was lost for the season a few weeks ago. By the end of yesterday's game, Coleman Shelton, an undrafted free agent from Washington, was playing because of injuries. Their offensive line is really, really poor right now. And Goff does not play well when under pressure -- that has always been known.

I had heard that the Rams were giving Goff all the reads in the helmet and belicheat figured out that if you wait till the 15 second mark on the play clock when it turns off that he’s needing to make the reads himself.

IMO their secondary and Oline are suspect.
The Rams sent Peters packing and are trying to fix their secondary midseason, that usually doesn't work. Gurleys chronic knee issues are affecting his game.

Quote: @AGRforever said:Zimmer did that back in 17 when we whooped them in Minnesota. Also, as Oracle stated, their o-line is shambles and with Gurley not healthy, their offense doesn't scare people. That offense runs thru Gurley.

Quote: @AGRforever said: The mic in the helmet is a joke to begin with. What happened to letting the players play the game? Coaches trying to control every aspect of the game (in all sports) bleeds down to the lower levels and the kids never really learn how to figure it out for themselves. |
