Judging by the evidence we have before us, the House of Representatives should impeach President Trump, and the Senate should remove him from office.

The newly released transcript of Trump’s call with incoming Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shows Trump abusing his office in multiple ways. This is especially evident when considering the context of other actions already acknowledged by either Trump or his private attorney, Rudy Giuliani.

I’ve argued in prior columns that the very involvement of the president in urging a foreign government to criminally investigate a U.S. citizen never charged under U.S. law is extremely problematic. When the targeted citizen is his chief political rival, or the rival’s son, it's worse. Even worse is when the president’s own lawyer says a major goal of the pressure on the foreign government is so that the rival “didn’t become president without having to answer” for his Ukrainian dealings.

The president is using his office to pressure a foreign government to harass an American citizen for political reasons.

There are still some very sane, good Republicans.

Here's the whole article.

The whistleblower report will be released tomorrow. From everything we've heard from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle who had read it, it's pretty damning.

Whatever it says, I can already predict the reaction by many on this board. A) Not that big of a deal, followed by B) "and remember when Obama ______?!"

It's the same script every time.

lmao!  Fackcheck.org?  what next Snopes?  Did the Senate ratify the Iran Nuclear Treaty?  Funny, I don’t remember a vote.  Nor a vote on the Paris Accords.  I am fully aware of what went on.  If Trump would have sent pallets if cash to any country you losers would have a conniption fit you are now over absolutely nothing.

Can you give us a rundown on the Iran deal? Maybe a detailed analysis of the sanctions that were put in place, and the role the Obama administration played in all of this?

Surely you wouldn't just be firing off at the hip "Duhhh black guy gave our moneys to muslems!!!" without at least attempting to have a rudimentary understanding of our foreign policy.
i do know it was Never ratified by the Senate as required by the Constitution.

Even more fun....

Any other administration and this would have been game over a long, long time ago. Guilty as sin. I haven't read the whole document, just many highlighted portions (don't have time, have to get started working). But it confirms exactly what we said. And the ties to Russia are just so damning.

Right all along. Donald Trump is a dumpster fire and the WH has to be exhausted trying to clean up his messes at this point. What a constant drain, having to hold his hand so he doesn't fuck up and do shit like COLLUDING WITH A FOREIGN GOVERNMENT TO AID HIS REELECTION.

There are some things you think we'd all be on the same page about as Americans, but apparently we're still in the, "but Obama..." phase.

EDIT:

Oh yeah, can't forget about this either:

What's he hiding?

The most corrupt, inept president in modern history or another delusional, religious nutbag... I'll go with the latter if I must choose.

Plus, we'd have our first gay president!
