There is far more to being a QB than what the average fan can see in a few quarters of preseason. The coaches didn't think he was ready in all facets, they didn't even think he was ready enough to play with the twos, and 3 other team passed as well.
I did think we would pick him up on practice squad, but I think that is really the coaches admitting that they don't think he can take the next step. I wish the kid luck.

What if we offered him a spot on our practice squad but he told us to F off?

What if we didn't, which is the reality of the situation. Him and his parents lobbying in the media for him to get a better spot on the team was pretty much the end in purple for KS. Teams have no time for 3rd string guys creating distractions which is about as dumb as it gets for a 3rd string guy to be doing.
His talent for sandlot football against 3rd string scrubs with no real schemes or complex defenses is nice but not enough to build an NFL starter's career upon.

Yep, I listened to PA and restated what he said. He said "I'm at practice every day, and Sloter just isn't getting it. He stated emphatically that SLoter would not be the backup." He was right........and it flew into all the Sloter jock sniffing fans that always were wanting Todd Bouman, Tyler Hienke, Joe Webb and other 3rd stringers to start for the vikings, because they were all going to be the next great QB. Yeah, I followed Sloter on Twitter. He got off on fans thinking he was some kind of great QB in waiting. I don't think he's the most mature kid. And the 'Sloter House' t-shirts?? LMAO. he was self promoting (almost like he was admitting his fame was fleeting and trying to cash in) the shirts were lame as hell. family... well find a mom or dad whos kid isnt deserving of more.

who were those people here? you seem to be putting a lot of shit on people that disagreed with the coaches use of Sloter in preseason and pulling retarded comments from other places to try and bolster your position. all that shit does is rile people up, enough already.
as far as PA, yeah... there is a solid source of quality information. PA is given a packet that says who he is supposed to pimp and what "hot takes" he is supposed to make, he is a shill for the team and nothing more. when was the last time you actually heard him take a position that was counter to what the coaches or GM does.... exactly... but hey, he was at practice every day.
