Which team claimed Sloter?
#1
I can't find it anywhere. As big of a talent as him surely would have been claimed, after all many here proclaimed he would be highly sought after and take a team to the super bowl. I did see that Deshon Kizer got claimed by the Raiders. Seems the QB whisperer John Gruden would surely see the talent in Sloter over Kizer????? How could so many teams be so wrong about this kid?????

Pelissero reports that Sloter has a workout with the Lions early this week, so there you go.

He's a sub-marginal talent. I don't wish him ill will, but the Vikings would have kept him if they felt otherwise. He came dirt cheap.

So this amazing piece of QB meat that posters on this board went nuts for, signed to be on the Arizona PRACTICE SQUAD. LMAO.

Let the coaches do the coaching......

Why all the vitriol re Sloter?

I sure wish the kid would have worked-out...As others have said, they've had a lot of different coaches internally be able to see the kid live and in-person. On the field and in the qb room.

I trust the decision more with Kubiak and crew here.

That said, I am not comfortable with just 2 qb's on the 53. But I suppose when you're down to you're 3rd qb option, you might as well put a fork in it.

Vitriol? Or just common sense? Depends how you want to look at it. Did anyone say they didn't want Sloter to work out? Nope. We all were very excited on this board when he was plucked from Denver.

But some are more pragmatic as fans than others. That's really what it come down to. Some just get when its time to cut bait.

Well...

Maybe vitriol isn the right word, just a lot of bad energy amongst the fans on this one...

So many here claimed he was going to get plucked and become the next GOAT QB, that Zimmer was an idiot. 0 of 31 teams claimed him....does that make all NFL and GM's idiots??? These arm chair genius QB savey posters have gone overboard, and like I said Friday, by Sunday they would all be quiet.......all I hear is crickets.

There is far more to being a QB than what the average fan can see in a few quarters of preseason. The coaches didn't think he was ready in all facets, they didn't even think he was ready enough to play with the twos, and 3 other team passed as well.

I did think we would pick him up on practice squad, but I think that is really the coaches admitting that they don't think he can take the next step. I wish the kid luck.
