I feel bad for Jerick McKinnon
#1
Speaking Wednesday, GM John Lynch indicated Jerick McKinnon (knee) suffered another setback in his return to practice Tuesday.McKinnon has attempted to return to practice twice this summer and has suffered setbacks both times. Lynch said, "Yesterday was not encouraging." At this point, it would almost be a miracle if McKinnon is ready for Week 1. We'd also say there's a non-zero chance the Niners just decide to cut their losses and move on from McKinnon instead of dragging his unhealthy body onto the 53-man roster. That or he simply gets sent to injured reserve. PUP is not an option.

really liked Jet.  He ran hard and was a good RB.  Just wasn't big enough IMO.  Sucks about the injuries for him.

Yeah, that's too bad.  Jet made some awesome plays as a Viking, and I was a fan.  Hope he can recover.

That's a bummer. I really like him. I wish him all the best.

He’s fortunate he got paid prior to injury. If he’s done his lifetime earnings went way up by signing with the niners.
