Beebe was the holder on all 7 kicks in camp on Sunday. But why would you have someone who has an injury history be the primary holder? Hell, I would rather have Rudolph be the holder.
Why Beebe as holder?

would you rather risk Thielen, Diggs or another starter

Beebe should not be in the NFL if he's risking injury by kneeling down, being still and holding a football...

How many times did Wile get hit last year as a holder?
At some point we need to expect the football players to be football players. Also as a backup WR Beebe needs to play STs, nobody seems to have an issue with him as a punt returner so why the angst as a holder?

i think the question of Beebe’s injury history is when he gets dinged as a reciever or returner the Vikes are now using the 2nd string holder who hasnt been getting the reps in a very precise process. if they use the punter or backup QB their chance of injury is much smaller.

Beebe and AT to getting their hand kicked or being in a vulnerable position which IMO was ridiculous considering the hits they take as receivers. Considering Beebes inability to finish games and the difficulty we have had with PK holders, perhaps he isnt the best choice for the holder job. |
