Some punk with a shotgun is right.

Kaare Vedvik with Baltimore Ravens...First field-goal was 60, second was 65 and the last field-goal was 70 yards at the Baltimore ravens indoor facility.

New #Vikings specialist Kaare Vedvik is en route to Minnesota now and is expected to be made available to reporters tomorrow. Both Dan Bailey and Matt Wile were escorted off the practice field today and not made available to media.

Bailey hit the uprights today and then people around me were talking about the new kicker. Ugh. Here we go again. They need a sports psychologist.

Have the seamstress put an E at the end of his name on his jersey.

This.

Bailey was the most accurate kicker in the NFL and still cut by the Cowboys. Then came here and was less so. NFL teams don't value kickers yet they need them desperately as they can win/lose games. Its a strange dynamic...

Dan has had a great NFL career (emphasis on the "had").  Kickers get replaced all the time. His accuracy was OK but the distance has dropped.  No excuses trying to improve a critical position.

The Cowboys still haven't found his replacement. The roulette wheel of kickers is at an all time high since the extra point distance changed. Its one huge mindfuck for a decent group of them.

In retrospect, that hip injury from the Dallas days did him in. Could never come back from it.

Throw in the Bears as another team with kicker issues. They never should have let Robbie Gould go - they would have gone onto the NFC Champ. Game. Great kickers are turning out to be a nightmare to find.
