No Doubt - Season 1 came out in October of 2017 - Vikings were in the middle of a great season with a QB no one wanted, LOL!
Loved the show - and that its based on the real story of these original Profilers. The Ed Kemper serial killer dude is crazy. His actual story is just sick - one truly weird psychopath. The actor nails it.

Wow...
Got it. No thank you. I know the story about Edwin Kemper.
I really have trouble with these sort of dramas. The investigative and historical part is interesting. Just really can't stomach psychopathic murder stuff.

They really don't go into depth on the murder so much as delving into the factors that turned these guys into the monsters they are. Some still photos, and in the first episode a guy takes a shotgun to his head. After that, it really focused in on how the science evolved.

As Barr said above - its really about how the true story and science of Serial Killer profiling came to be. Ed is one of the guys they interviewed extensively to start the process into how a Serial Killer thinks. They interview quite a few others over the years and, of course, that is a big part of what the show is about  - these FBI guys going around interviewing these dudes. But it does touch on the psychopathic murders these guys commit.

Ok that sounds doable. You said Edwin Kemper and I thought Silence of the Lambs. Which I did make it through but wouldn't have on a weekly basis. I just don't really want to know the working mind of a psycho. I just hope I never meet one. That one dark closet in my mind I hope just stays shut.

You'll enjoy it. The last ten minutes of season 1 are...intense.

Ok I found and saved it.
I haven't seen anything I want to watch since I burned through all the historical drama series I could find. That's really my thing.
I'll let you know how it goes.
