Vikings bring in vet CB Orlando Scandrick for a workout

Might see the team sign a veteran corner to combat depth concerns with Holton Hill out.

Might be due diligence in case one of the young guys isnt capable of handling the dime CB...Personally, I think we could use Kearse in that role vs certain lineups...

You know, there was a time we didn't have a legit #1 CB...now we're concerned about the #4...

Yeah, it is why I don't get some of the angst about Hughes still recovering and Hilton Hill getting suspended...  Some teams don't have 2 good CBs and we have 3 right now (and two others with some great potential).

Zimmer likes his seasoned CB's. If Mike finds an affordable vet Hill might have just been shown the door.

you'll have that when you invest the draft capital we have at the position.

Remember that time people were so upset that we drafted Hughes? Obviously he still has to prove himself, but I like his potential. Vikings will need him this season and definitely next year and beyond.

Count me in that upset group...

Hughes flashed some nice potential last season and I am not convinced Waynes is here long-term. So nice to have him on the roster - still might have liked Hernandez.

Question is will he be an outside guy? Especially if Mac sticks at slot?

I do think he will be outside. You’re right, Mac is 100% slot guy now. It’s working, so keep him there.
