OT: Put on the shades, these kids futures are bright
#1
GLENELG, Md. — Four Maryland teenagers sneaked onto their school's property the night before graduation last year and covered it in racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic graffiti.
The Washington Post described how they got caught in a Tuesday story . It says they covered their faces during the hate crime, but didn't realize their cellphones automatically connected to Glenelg High School's Wi-Fi under their individual student IDs. Seth Taylor, Tyler Curtiss, Joshua Shaffer and Matthew Lipp were soon arrested.
Taylor said the teens meant to spray paint "Class of 2018" on the sidewalk as a senior prank, but things got out of hand. Sentences for the four teens ranged from eight to 18 weekends behind bars.

This is like the 'ice cream lickers'....have you seen this? Dumbshits are going into grocery stores, opening up quarts of ice cream, licking the top, placing the lid back on and putting them back in the freezers. They are doing this while being recorded on phones and then posted to social media. Its also on the cameras of the grocery stores. Its a felony in Florida. Moron kids. They are actually in big trouble. Now consumers want companies like Blue Bell to put a sealed plastic on top of the tubs......its f#$%ing unbelievable.

Parents......for #$%^ sake.....raise your kids BETTER than this. We've all done stupid shit when we were younger, but this is just so moronic to the core.

Every container of Ice Cream I buy has a plastic seal on it, can't believe Blue Bell doesn't.  Anyway, back to the point of the threads I agree some kids are absolute morons...ya gotta wonder what the their parents taught, if anything.

Actually, a lot of the better ice creams don't because its part of the manufacturing process: the tubs get turned upside down after initial filling/freezing so there's no freezer burn taste. No crystallization. Plastic seals don't allow for it and you'll get freezer burn taste a lot easier. Sure, you can put a plastic seal afterwards but its a needless add on. Unless dumbasses are licking them.  :p

I just saw a video on Facebook of some 20-something-year-old dude opening a gallon jug of Arizona tea and spitting a snot rocket in it. Stupid is as stupid does...

You know, you can’t tell me that all of these idiots (and idiots in general) have bad parents. Our society loves to lay blame somewhere, but when are we going to just lay the blame where it belongs, at the feet of each individual idiot??

Actually the whole problem started when any accountability went out the window.  Did you see where 60 kids in Philadelphia rushed into a Walgreens, ran up and down the isles knocking things off shelves, breaking things and stealing things.  They even broke a bottle over the head of one of the workers who dared to try and stop them.  Then they just ran back out and went on their merry way. They were all caught on cameras either in the entry way of the store or one of the many inside the store.  What the hell is wrong with kids now days. I dont know anyone when I was growing up that would dare doing anything like this, knowing damn well it would be the end of them if they did.

Do you think kids are different these days? Or do they appear worse because we now have video records of almost everything they do, and insatiable, 24-hour media covering it all? I think the worst thing I ever did was to steal all of the "city limits" signs at every road into town (blasting Ride of the Valkyries from my car stereo). But I knew kids who played mailbox baseball, vandalized cars and houses, shot cows from farm roads, among other things. And, honestly, now that I think about it, I've been hearing stories of fast food workers spitting (or worse) into burgers for decades.

Agreed.  As I said in another thread, I have done stupid stuff in my youth.  But yes, I didn't share it on the internet to show everyone how stupid I was.  Road signs, racing over 2 lane road, bahaaing and generally being a stupid boy.

So yeah, get off my lawn!
It struck me tho, I was just thinking the other day, it is in our lifetime that plastic sealed containers have become a thing.  Remember the poisoned aspirin?  Some dumbass thought it would be funny to possibly kill someone, so now everything is sealed (except good ice cream I guess.)
