"Drool".......

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Redskins LT Trent Williams has demanded the team to trade or release him.According to La Canfora, the issue on Williams' end is not about money; it's about the team's handling of his medical situation. We assume Williams is referring to the growth or tumor he had on his head. There was naturally some scare about the situation. Williams has since refused to report to the team and has "vowed" to not play again for the Redskins. Giddy up. The Redskins have been using Ereck Flowers (lol) in Williams' place at left tackle this spring.
How much cap space to cut Reiff and trade Rudolph again??  :p

how much would be saved letting Reif go?  Restructure A couple other players I have faith in our Cap Master to make it work if they really wanted him.

This is nothing more than wishful thinking...No way the Vikings could swing this deal...

Players like Trent Williams do not become available. Pro Bowler the last 7 straight seasons. Durable. Athletic. Captain of the Kirk Cousins fan club. Better fit in a zone (4.8 forty) than the schizophrenic zone/power thing the Redskins run.

Sell the farm. Trade them Reiff (who's the same age, by the way) and a couple of draft picks, then put the cap man to work. Anything's possible if you want it bad enough. Right Kirk? Could maybe shave a few mill off of that salary for your buddy Trent? WWTBD?

I say what the hell. Why not take a shot? There is nothing to lose. Go big or go home.

Some how there has to be a punchline in there about the head growth/tumor and fitting in the cap space.

I realize the chance of us getting him is slim to none.  However, I am sure if they wanted him bad enough they could work it out.

Maybe with him refusing to play for Washington, you trade Reiff and a pick or two and let them pay for some of his salary. Getting something is better than nothing, right?
I know it’s wishful thinking. But, you just never know unless you ask.
