Granted, this is only an OTA practice.  The team could be trying it out to see how it looks / works.  Not necessarily written in stone.  But, it's news...

Riley Reiff was in his usual left tackle spot, while Pat Elflein
was at left guard after playing center the previous two seasons. Rookie
first-round pick Garrett Bradbury was at center while free-agent
addition Josh Kline was at right guard. Brian O’Neill did not practice,
so Rashod Hill was at right tackle.

The second-team offensive line, from left to right, consisted of:
Aviante Collins, Dakota Dozier, Brett Jones, Danny Isidora and Storm
Norton.

and other news on Joseph (well not really news but a tidbit that can lead to speculation)

4. Update on Joseph

Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph was present at Wednesday’s
OTA practice but did not take reps during the team portion. Zimmer was
asked if Joseph received a rest day.

“No. He had surgery in the offseason,” Zimmer said.

Interesting that Collins is back at tackle. I guess with Elf, Samia, Isidora, Kline and Dozier at guard it might be the bigger need.

O'Neill was out as well, so that could have played into it.  Honestly, I think last years trial at guard was more about the lack of talent there with Easton injured and Elf not recovered yet.

Probably right. Be really nice if he can develop into a starter and be our future at left tackle. At 6-4, 295 (probably more than that now). 4.8 forty, 34 reps. Having that kind of athleticism and reach blocker paired with O'Neill on the outside would be an exciting thing.

I think the Vikings view Collins as so athletic that he's an OT in the pros. Don't want to waste that upside at guard. But he's not the longest guy.

I think its 100% that the line will start out camp as Reiff-Elflein-Bradbury-Kline-O'Neill. Fingers crossed as always on injuries. If players, both starters and backups can practice and play preseason games at the same position (not flexing back and forth from guard to OT), that will be vital for the whole unit's potential. I know some fans think Kline's spot might be open for competition, but I don't think so. IMO, the Vikings would love to roll in Game 1 with that starting unit.

Based upon what they are paying Kline...  he is definitely their #1 option at RG this season.  I'm actually feeling pretty good about our offensive line this year.  Our starting 5 looks solid and we have some talented depth.
