If true, this is unbelievable. These corporations are run by psychopaths.

Would not be surprised. They get so many tax breaks. They will push the envelope to see what they can get away with.

Down -11% today

Maybe a cultural climate & norms that mirror Wells Fargo or Heinz/Kraft?

The Dow finished up today +99.97 (+0.39), so that part is good.

I remember an article about 10 years ago on GE about the time their CEO was named jobs czar,  GE made about 15 billion in profits,  5 billion in the US, and paid zero in taxes,  and at that time GE was leveraging their labor unions with the threat of moving more jobs to india.... I dont like unions but at least those union laborers pay taxes here in the US,  shit like that makes it hard to support US companies like GE...and iim sure many more like them.

Oh and the CEO of GE made over 15million that year,  but he needed union concessions.  Sickening.

Its shit like that that makes me draw further away from the free market ideals.

Is this going to become a board that talks about this shit? Or is it a Vikings board? Can't this be in an off topic section? If not this is a political/Vikings board. And I noticed another thread with politics involved here, and I hadn't seen any on this site B4 recently.

I believe the mods moved this to the off-topic/sensitive topics board.

If you don't want to see that stuff click on Longship (on the left side of the screen) and it will remove all of these political posts from your view and keep you on that board specifically.

Worked many years for that company, Neutron Jack and I came on board about the same time.  GE Electric Boat and the companies stewardship of the Hudson River along with partnerships with CIBA Geigy, ENRON...  Not to mention the PCB(Polychlorinated biphenyl) development, distribution, denial and litigation, will give some more free market trepidation, Comrade.
