Arizona Cardinals QB moves, last 13 months:

*sign Sam Bradford 2yr/$40m, $15m guaranteed
*sign Mike Glennon 2yr/$8m, $4m guaranteed

*draft Josh Rosen #10 overall after trading 3rd and 5th round picks to move up. Pay Rosen $11.3m in 2018

*draft Kyler Murray #1 overall

That is some crazy shizzle.

Yikes....and Didn't they pick Leinart round 1 a few years ago also?

It's like missing every pitch in batting practice

That is how you end up with major holes in other positions as well.

The media fawning over Kingsbury "getting his guy" crap is nauseating.  That team is not going anywhere fast with the holes they have at almost every other position.  I hope Rosen demands to get the hell out of there.

It's absolutely ridiculous. He gets his guy with the number one pick in the draft. Like duh, if you fuck that up you should be fired twice. It wasn't like they had to gamble to move up and make the pick. But any time there is something to hype, the talking heads go apeshit for months.

I would laugh harder but this resume doesn't look that much different (chasing the QB thing) then a certain team I've loved for years.
However giving up on a 1st rounder you just traded up to get after one season is a whole new  level.

I'm not sure I get the negative view of this.  A team that had nothing at QB a year ago now has 2 top 10 QBs to choose from.  That sounds pretty good to me.

This.  In the last 30 months, the Vikings have traded a 1st and 3rd for a QB that only played in 17 games, traded a 5th for a backup (Siemian), let go the only 2 QBs that they made the playoffs with (Bridgewater and Keenum) and signed a QB to the largest fully guaranteed contract ever while missing the playoffs.

This isn't an endorsement nor a criticism, just what has happened.

Yes, the Bradford connection makes it uncomfortably familiar.  But we only paid Bradford after losing our 1st round QB to injury.
