Brian Robison retires a Vikings, says goodbye
#21
You were one of us, Brian.  We admire players, root for them and praise them.  But you were different.  You were one of us out there.  I agree with all of the wonderful things that people have said but it stings to realize you are truly gone from us.  I wish you peace and happiness. And tell your old man, he did a hell of a job.

It's been a lot of fun getting to know the player and the man through his interactions with the fans,  I doubt we ever get a player again that shows so much respect for the fans.

BTW...Anybody notice somebody missing from his farewell message?
No Spielman.

If anybody still wants to follow Brian...and Pops, they are fishing  in a tourney this weekend called the big bass splash (fundraiser for St Judes)  you can google it and there is a results tab on the tourney page.

Good luck to team Robison!

No what?

Pops disliked this message for some reason.
No, my big thumb just hit the wrong one and I fixed it.

My apologies to folks I had inadvertently disliked posts. Totally an accident. I loved BRob. Not loving this damn phone though.
Big oops...
Edit: Ok now I know what going on. Just did it again. I got a crack in my screen protector. As I scroll down with my thumb it hit that crack and mimics a tap. Don't like button is right where my thumb rolls.
I will rarely give anybody a don't like. If you seen I have it purely by accident. Fixed two I've seen so far.

I thought he was fair to RS - he was in the video.

I still go back and watch 96 questions from time to time because they are funny as hell and show their camaraderie. The thing about Brian is that he is real. He isn't an image or a character. He is who is. He is a good guy who cares about his family, teammates, coaches and fans. What more could you ask for?

That would work. Of course so would a scout or coach. I could see him teaching young guys how to adjust to being in the league.

Thank you BRob for being not only an awesome player but being a better man.  You leadership on the field will be missed. You deserve all the praise you are getting in this thread and I hope you have a  happy retirement.
