Personally, I'm a fan of the Hamberger Helper hands of Rudy. He's a great player, and only second to Steve Jordan as best Viking TE ever.

I think he’s the last real candidate for getting an
extension that could give us more cap flexibility this year, and there’s no real reason to move on it in the short term unless they have someone they need to fit under the cap. I think they’d wait until after the draft, see if they pick up a TE, see who they need to sign as a FA in camp, and then make a decision after everything else is finalized or we need to make space. |
