Yikes.  No one even tried to make the case that he was "good".  That's not a good sign.  At least lie to us... and give us SOME hope for the OL!

I remember him (yeah, I'm old too)...first round draft pick, running back from Penn. St.  Had moments, then disappeared.  He wanted a two sport career playing football and baseball.  he was out of both leagues after a few years.

I just mentioned DJ last night... when I was talking about Twins baseball.  My son looked at me weird and asked, "Do you mean Brian Dozier?"

So, basically, the Jets signed our guard Compton and the Vikes responded by signing the Jets guard Dozier.  Sounds like two teams re-arranging the deck chairs.  At least our new OL coach is familiar with Dozier.

So we are going to fix the offensive line via the free agent scrap pile so we can draft more superstars for the defense?
