OT. Twins Win!
#1
La machina outduels Kluber, with 7 2/3 shutout ball.  Rogers the 4 out save. Lost my oldest brother last winter who taught me love of many things including sports, music and more.  He loved this time of year- the promise of spring, spring training, march madness, nfl draft...  He is looking down with perfection while I look up with hope. Miss you bro!

Sorry to hear about your big brother. Sounded like a great guy.   I love the promise of spring myself. As well as fall and Viking time as most hope of spring is usually gone by then.
But for now...Win Twins!!! Maybe this is their year.

Nice to get off on the right foot - for the team and Berrios.  I forgot to check the score at work until I was leaving (bottom of 7th) so listened to the rest on my drive.

Nice.  More than any other sport there is a loooooong way to go but in April everyone is a contender B)  Planning to see a Twins game this year instead of the Vikings. (Sorry, but $35 per seat vs $100+ :o , plus I've never been to a Twins game so this will be a change of pace.  Be sweet if the Twins are still in the race come September.

I took my parents and oldest son (and his friend) to a Twins game late last season after they were out of it...  Astudillo hit a walk off home run to win the game.  It was awesome to watch, even in a season that was disappointing.

You should definitely make it to a Twins game this year.  Target Field is a great place to watch a baseball game...  fresh air, great sight lines, and I "splurged" a little and got tickets about 15 rows up on the lower level directly up from first base...  I spent less on 5 tickets for this game than I spent on two tickets to the Vikings game that were corner end zone/field level...  very affordable.

Sorry to hear that you lost your brother...  but that's awesome that you can remember the good times with him when you're watching sports, listening to music, etc.

I'm kind of excited for the Twins this season...  I think they might surprise us.  The lineup looks as good as it has in years (especially if Sano and Buxton live up to their potential and stay healthy) and Berrios, Gibson, and Pineda could be a very good 1-3.
