Lots of options still available that easily would be an upgrade over Treadwell.
Kelvin Benjamin, Chris Conley, Dontrelle Inman, Jermaine Kearse, & Randall Cobb come to mind.
Any they sign would have to settle for a minimal one year deal.
Benjamin would be nice.
I would also draft someone like Terry McLaurin, Andy Isabella, Deebo Samuel, Hakeem Butler, Johnny Dixon, Parris Campbell, Emmanuel Hall, Miles Boykin, and maybe a couple of others.  I kind of like ones that have return experience too.
No need to sign a old and pricey veteran. This draft is stacked deep with good WRs in rounds 2 thru 4. Use whatever money you have to extend Thielen and just draft one. This is going to be a draft just like 2016 where the best receivers are not going to come from the 1st round, but instead the middle rounds...
Push Theilen off until next year or at least until after the roster is settled for this year.  Does he deserve a raise....yes,  but he is making good money with his incentives and if he doesnt  make his incentives for reason.out of his controll the team can make it up in his next deal .

Does our new offense run many 3 WR sets?  I honestly don't have a clue.  If not, then I'd be more than happy to roll with what we have on our roster.  I think Beebe and Zylstra might workout just fine, if they can beat out Treadwell for the #3 spot.  Treadwell did get better last season compared to his first two, so I'm not yet ruling him out at the #3 spot.

I like having the best possible players at each position (like anyone else), but being so cash strapped now, investing any money for a FA WR just doesn't seem like a priority over OL or a #2 RB.

Grab WR  Dillon Mitchell from Oregon 6,'3, 199 lbs 4.4 40 in the 3rd or 4th round who can play slot or outside and not spend any FA money

Hopefully one of the geeks checks out Kubiaks history with sets.  when we resigned ham i was looking for fullback usage but didnt see anything significant. so maybe that was just special teams.  I have a feeling based on what i know of Zim,  We may see alot of 2 TE sets and a few heavy formations

On Zanarys original thought, I think it makes alot if sense for a  reliable 3rd WR, we dont have that now and young WR’s especially rookies make little impact
