So much for "christian values" as I've understood them all these years...

Out of curiosity: why do you think that this is in, someway, contrary to "Christian values"?

best part about that advertisement... there isnt a damn thing wrong with it in a country that believes in free speech and freedom of religion,  but yet there will be some that hold it up as racist or hateful.

if those that live in that area disagree with that statement they are free to buy their groceries elsewhere,  but there will be some that think that owner should be punished by the govt for exercising his freedoms.

Is there any reason to post this besides inflaming others
and getting people riled up?

I know this isn’t in the Sensitive Topics board yet, but it
seems destined to get moved there.  Some
of the rules of that board could be well applied in this case, such as “Add in
your own opinion”, don’t just drop stuff in to agitate people.  No one can read your mind, and it’s lazy to
expect us to.  “Don’t paint groups with a
broad brush” and “Show respect to your fellow posters”.  I think this post is right on the edge of “This
one guy is hypocritical” and “All christians are hypocritical”.  The OP could probably argue he was just
talking about one person, but it’s very easy to misinterpret.

I thought I originally posted this in Sensitive Topics, so apologies to the Longship board.

Moved it to ST.

You don't have to agree or disagree with the politics or religion to understand the gyst of the joke. A Bugs Bunny level of imagery will do.

I don't understand the point of it for a meat advertisement though...

"ya'll lookin' for a fist fight!? Come on deeeooown to Mac's!"

"5 Stars. I went in for the meat but damn if these guys ain't the best comedians in town!"  :#

I'm still waiting for someone to explain how this is- somehow- not "Christian values"?

Heavens immigration policy is not all that strict. All you have to do is two things ask forgiveness and accept Christ. Then even the worst among us get in. How is that strict?
