No doubt having the GOAT @ QB is huge.

Belichek deserves his kudos though as the greatest NFL coach of them all.

After listening to some players from across the league on the radio recently, I am convinced there is something culturally with the Patriots that separates them from most other franchises in the NFL. It's the players, team camaraderie, player commitment and of course scheme.

Success begets success.  Players believe in the system or they are gotten rid of.  Player want to play for a winner and nobody wins more than the Patriots.  So they believe in the system even through the tough times.  Going 0-2 doesn't turn the town against them and doesn't turn the players against the system.  Bilichek has proven that he will be there no matter what.  That belief covers a lot of holes.

Agreed. That enviable culture you speak of came from going to 9 Superbowls. It works. And if you don't like it as a player, see ya. Winning cures all and cultivates all as this is unprecedented in the NFL. You get vets toward the end of their careers that want that ring and give it their all with the maturity and leadership that trickles down. And Bill is possibly the greatest coach in NFL history.

Gee, it's too bad that some players just can't play for Belichick.  His teams never have any fun.

Belichick has gone 13-6 (.684) in 19 games without Brady at quarterback for the Patriots.

Zim in 5 years is .594

2017 his best win %, He did not know if the QB that just played in a winning game,
was going to start next week.

Zimmer went 12-4 with Case Keenum as a starter, so not sure stats are going to tell the story you want. This included a playoff victory.

No Brady and you don't have the legend of Bill. Having said that, he's an amazing coach.

Yadda yadda...greatest coach ever.
Yadda yadda...greatest QB ever.

It's still ok to hate them. Thanks for ruining another Super Bowl for me.

That was my point, Mikes best QB in 5 years was a guy who, he wasn't sure was going to be the starter week to week.
Mike felt the 1st rounder should be the starter. Case started 16 games if you include the 2 playoff games, ended up
with over 4100 yards in those 16 starts, This year Kirk is worshiped because he ended up with over 4000 yards.

Bill only played Tom because Bledsoe got injured, Bill was smart enough to stay with the guy winning.
Tom did nothing in 2001 to make anyone believe he was going to own all the records before he retires.
2001- 2800 yards 18 TD 12 INT,
2002 was no better, they actually only won 9 games, Bill was smart enough to realize it was not
because of the 6 RD QB, and stuck with him, the rest is historical.

If They would have kept Case and only won 8 games this year, who would get the blame?
