Sara just messaged to let me know that Don lost his battle with cancer this morning.  Please make sure to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  I only met Don the one time,  but I could tell he was the type of man that will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

I've followed things as Don went through all the medical issues...her love for him has been unwavering, she's a credit to the whole human race.

I hope life is as kind to her as it's been difficult.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Emma and Kasey. I am so very sorry for your loss. Know that we are thinking of you and pulling for you at this very difficult time. Sending positive and healing vibes. Love and light to you and your girls. Sending strength to you even though you are a strong woman. Your girls are a part of Don that will continue to carry his legacy and yours. May you find some comfort and peace in that and the many memories that you created together.

Thinking about Don, the kiddos and you all day Sass. You've shared so much with us over the years - thanks for letting us get to know him. You brought him into our digital lives through our passion for football but we got to know a man and a family who was much more interesting than a simple game of football. In a ocean of constant off-topic noise; Sass your stories about Don and home life were such easy, feel good reads.

You've got friends here if you need. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys - i'm thinking a Vikings/Steelers SuperBowl is needed In Honor of Don a.s.a.p!
