Yikes, our schedule looks rough. Ranks #9 in overall difficulty, but look at the road games versus the home games.
Throwing out the division, we have 1 playoff team at home next year, Philly. Denver, Raiders, Redskins at home for the easy games.
Then on the road we have only 1 team that was below 10 wins, the Giants. Seattle (again), KC, Dallas and Chargers.
Maybe I am jaded, but it always seems like someone in the league office hates us.
Seems like we always have to travel to Seattle.

Last 3 regular season games against them have been in Seattle. Playoff was at home. I think we have split last 2 preseason games.
It's really just a rotating schedule.
2020 schedule:
AFC South (played them 4 years prior, but opposite venue):
Home - Jacksonville and Tennessee
Away - Indianapolis and Houston
NFC South (played them 3 years prior, but opposite venue):
Home - Carolina and Atlanta
Away - New Orleans and Tampa
1 away game against NFC East team that finishes in the same divisional position.
1 home game against NFC West team that finishes in the same divisional position.
6 games in the division.
So, the AFC opponent rotates every 4 years with opposite venue and the NFC opponent rotates every 3 years with opposite opponents.
It's actually a brilliant scheme for a schedule.

I realize it rotates. We play the AFC West and NFC East next year. But throw in Seattle on the road and (one I missed) atlanta at home. As I said, 2 10 win teams and 2 12 win teams on the road. One 9 win team at home. All our playoff teams except for Philly are on the road. Seattle has been a road game for us 3 times in a row. Probably after we travel to the Giants.

I'm pretty sure it's only 2 times at Seattle. The Vikings got destroyed at home in 2015 against them. Unless you're counting the preseason, which I have no idea how the NFL does that.
But, it's really hard to project which teams will be good next year. I think it's around 50% turnover on average. 2017 playoff teams were ATL, CAR, NO, MIN, PHI and LA. This year NO, LA, SEA, DAL, PHI and CHI. So it's really hard to project. However, I'm sure at SEA will be a tough game no matter how they do overall next year.

Ah, you are correct about 2015. I think I was combining that loss with the Walsh debacle.
The 2018 season isn't even over (well, for the Vikings it is), and we're already revving up the excuse machine for another patented under achieving 2019 campaign?
Too funny.

About as funny as you.
Talking football on a football site. Imagine that. But you probably can't.
Forgot the obligatory and always entertaining, Slappy!
