Vikes Squish the Fish, Thoughts?
#1
I can't believe I'm picking a win after that Monday night mess, but here it goes:

31 - 17 Vikes.

Have a great weekend Longshippers - SKOL!

Vikes will prevail as the offense wakes up.  Vikes 34 - 13

Dolphins have somehow beaten both the Bears and the Patriots, so it won't be easy, but they've also been beaten by the Colts and Bengals and been blown out by the Patriots, Texans and Packers on the road. In fact, they're 1-5 on the road.

Vikings in a statement game. 38 - 10

I like the direction these scores are going. Do I hear 41-7?

Yeah looking at the matchup. We haven't beaten a team with a winning record. They are 1-5 on the road. Their lone road win was at NY Jets in Sept. I think that plays into our favor. While they do indeed have a winning record and came off a thrilling last second win at over a good team at home. Their road trips are far less impressive. They're giving up a lot of points when they travel. I like our offense this week.
34-17 Vikes.

They'll win...

if not this season becomes disaster vs just disappointing.

If they lose, things are gonna get real ugly. So they don't just need to win. They need to win big, a game where they play good football on both sides of the ball. They do that, they can start a run, start some momentum. And remove some of that bad mojo.

Such a negative narrative around the team now. Flip's firing turned-up the heat a bunch on everyone @ Eagan.

Wilfs have invested too much in the team to settle for mediocrity.

This one could go either way. The Vikings haven't beat a team with a winning record this year. And though the fish have a winning record, they have been bad on the road.
Right now this team seems a lot like the 2003 Vikings that were knocked out of the playoffs on the final play of the season, by the hapless Cardinals.
Hopefully the coaching change will turn the offense around enough to beat these guys at home, and not have to depend on others to back into the playoffs.
If the defense plays well, I think the offense will do just enough win this one.
Vikings by 3.
