The Vikes are like that hot little number you've always wanted...she shows "just" enough interest in you that you think you've got a chance.....so then you start to reciprocate your interest...and that's when..
SPLAT....she steps on your nuts.
So you think, "never again", but there's just something about her....her eyes...her smile...that keeps you coming back...maybe, just maybe she needs time. She swings her hair back, and everything goes in slow motion....the heavens open, angels sing.....

so you smile, she smiles back, you start talking again when...
CRUNCH....she steps on your nuts...
...but you just can't shake her, despite 50 years of stepping on your sack
That's a long time without ever putting out.

Worse for me, I passed this on to my oldest son. Scientists and behaviorist are try to determine if this is a learned behavior or its something in the DNA. So far my youngest appears to be resistant.

So, is a smashed sack, better than blue balls?

I've stopped asking why. I just got older and managed my emotions better.
That said they better win tomorrow or I'm going all foot stumping and tantrum throwing.

Pretty simple - when they're no fun? I won't watch.

I watched maybe 4 minutes of that awful Seahawks game.

I haven’t watched a full game since the first Packers game that ended in a tie. Although I should have been excited about the huge comeback to tie it, it was a game that summed up my entire life of watching them. Disappointment!

I have freed up a ton of time to do other things, I don’t get irritated while watching the game, and if they win I’ll watch the highlights on YouTube.

Until they become consistent winners, I’m pretty much done.
