If you want to see our chances for making the playoffs...

If Minnesota can go 8-3 for the rest of the year, I'd be ecstatic. I think its their most reasonable upside scenario (not too negative nor over-the-top positive). No idea how many wins it will take to get into the playoffs. Probably be the #3 seed with that record 10-5-1.

Finishing 10-5-1 would be a big deal to me as a fan considering what has happened so far this year and what lies ahead. They'd regain some swagger and confidence finishing that way and let it hit the fan in the playoffs and see how far they can go. Now that's their 'reasonable' upside.....I think the reality might be more like a 6-5 finish. This team is going to look inconsistent week to week. I think their defense and offensive line issues will catch up to them too much to make the playoffs, but just miss. I obviously like my upside scenario a lot better from a fan perspective.

I had a goal in mind at the start of the season. 1st back to back division titles since 08-09. With 7 remaining division games that is still attainable. However many wins it takes.

Yes, the NFCN is there for the taking.  If we handle our business with our division foes, we will win the division and make the playoffs.

We saw glimpses of who this team really is last week. Hopefully, we'll see more and more. I have little doubt we'll make the playoffs, but I don't like the Rams. Not one bit.

But before we hand them the NFCC, let's remember that they've beaten the Raiders, the Cardinals and the Chargers. Then barely beat the Vikings and Seahawks. In the next 6 weeks, they get Denver in Denver, Packers, Saints, Hawks again and KC. Hopefully, we can pull even with them over that stretch.

I was kinda down immediately after the Rams game. Then chatted with fans looked at the box score. After a couple days I thought we could of beat those guys. Had the ref not blow Adam down he scores a TD there. We played them hard. Got a few back calls and ended up losing but within one score. We might just be able if we do get a chance.  I'm with you. The thing that scares me is the league seems to be favoring them. You know what I mean. Wanting them to be successful a little more then others. They finally got their long awaited market back. They really need fans to not tune out this time. Almost like the time they willed the Saints to a title once. My paranoia maybe. They wouldn't fix games.

Yep, 2 big calls that changed the game that we were in until the very end.  Thielen being whistled down and the block in the back flag on that huge catch and run.  We held them to a FG that drive, if it stops sooner because of that penalty, then that is a huge turn.

I think it's nuts that they have us at 96% chance to get into the playoffs at 9-6-1 and splitting the Bears-Lions games.  I think we'd need at least 10 wins to get in.  That said, I also think it's nuts that there's only 4 NFC teams with winning records.

Yes, we could've easily beaten the Rams with a call here and there. However, my gut feeling during that game was that they were the better team and that we were keeping pace via a few big plays here and there. In other words, that could've easily been a 38 to 21 game, too. I hate to say that, but it's what I felt. On the other side of the coin, I felt the opposite about the Eagles game--that WE were the better team and the Eagles were the ones chasing. For what it's worth.
