Tom is looking for a partner to help him work the NY game
#11
Papa Scott will do the duties here.   He is finalizing his travel plans.  All we ask of him is that he post a writeup of his experience.  What it was like and what he found interesting or surprising.

I promise folks - this is one of the most unique experiences in a sports fan's life.  It's not how you expect it to be, but a great experience.

As few or many as you want.  We want you to describe the game day experience, behind the scenes.

Way to go Papa hope you have a hell of a time!

My only advice to you is... we're playing the JETS, not the GIANTS...  :p

Since Scott was the first to respond with interest in this thread we've thrown the opportunity to him! Good luck Scott and have fun!

Are you interested in helping Tom work the NY game?

If so, you need to be able to work a camcorder, and to be able to present yourself as a professional and conduct yourself in a working press manner.

This means that you must fit the part. Business casual dress, and the ability to not be a fan in the press box. There is no cheering or sneering in reaction to a play.

You must also be able to pay your own way as far as travel and hotel accomodations if needed. This is a unique experience for you to see how the production of an NFL game happens. If you are interested please respond here.
I'm in!  I meet your qual's!

But if I stumble into Spiels.... I'll ask Rick this question:
1)  Did you have Teddy B.  or Johnny M.  on top of your draft board, in 2014 ?

NFLDraftGuru and Peter King said Johnny M was uber alles QBs.

^^ I'll put it to rest.

Worth my 1,000 per diem, imo.

Laughter aside, Rick is not joking guy on game day.  He is very quiet and talks to almost no one. Bad plays, penalties and losses tear him up worse than it does Zimmer.  At the end of games, he looks worn out.

And, you wouldn't just stumble into him - he sits right behind us in most games.
You underestimate my stumbling skillz, lol.

But just as well, as I just got hired for the position of Zygi’s  ‘gameday glasses cleaner’, or the ‘gdgc’.

All moguls need one; Zygi’s just finally recognizing the need.  c ya at the game!  Wink

Lol, I am sure you will have many.  Have fun, but not too much fun as that isn't allowed.  Enjoy, but not really.

those of you that were at the first VF tailgate at TCF may recall a couple that tailgated next to us from New York.  I've maintained a relationship with them and will be staying with them in Manhattan.  I'm jazzed.
