Its going to be about what team does the little things best....

Pretty obvious the NFC is loaded, with Chicago taking it a level up with acquiring Mack. Minnesota seems to split a lot with Detroit, so nothing comes easy. What separates teams like Philly (now with Wentz), Los Angeles, Atlanta, Green Bay, Carolina, New Orleans, etc. with the Vikings isn't that great. That's what makes Carlson's gagfest a bit tough to swallow....that was a highly valuable NFC and division win that just went wide right up in smoke several times. Can't afford to piss away any more of those victories in hand, especially in the NFC. Its why Zimmer had little remorse in cutting Carlson, he knows the team had it and #$^^ed it up.

Minnesota needs to crank up their run game and dial in their special teams for the stretch run after Buffalo. Hate to look past the Bills, but if Minnesota can't beat them with a raw rookie QB at home then the season is gone anyway. Short turnaround and its off to Los Angeles for Thursday night.

As a fan, I am going to have to try hard not to let that T hang over my football psyche all year. Reality is it could bite us in January, but it is what it is now.

Am looking for a fun game vs Bills and hoping for a split against Eagles/Rams on a short week. Hell, we're already at the quarter mark after that.

I have to admit I was more than a little disappointed in our D against GB.  I thought the Packer ran the ball well from a running back I've never head of before.  Also, without blitzing, we really didn't pressure the Packers much.

If we're going to be a top team in the NFC, the D needs to step it up.  The Rams and Philly are going to let us know where we rank in the NFC.  It's going to humbling or an all out scream fest of SKOLS!

I thought that as well, but then I checked the numbers.  They were less than 100 yards total rushing.

Not so worried about Chicago as their offense still is crap.  Will be a tough game in Chicago as divisional games always are.  But yes, that game should have been a win and hopefully it doesn't bite us in the ass like the loss to Detroit at home did last year.

Rams are the team to beat in NFC, that defense is stacked and they have a better O=line than us.  Week 4 TNF will speak volumes how we stack up.
