With OT ending, we were assured of keeping GB from winning (so we were going to stay even with them in the division race) so Carlson was allowed to either keep himself alive (he would have come out of the game with an emotional boost if he kicked the game-winning FG) or to pound the final nail in his own coffin. Turns out he hit that nail better than any of his kicks. Does Carlson push Walsh a bit out of our collective Viking memory now, or will we forget the "Carlson Era" too quickly?

As I said yesterday. Sing it with me!
"Won't you come home, Dan Bailey? Won't you come home!"

if only we had been playing dropping bombs in the first half like they were in the second! Damn... let Zylstra or Beebe play for our WRs.

Pleasantly surprised with this move. Zero downside. I'm just a little shocked they moved so quickly, but he missed 3 FGs.....all brutal. Carlson even mentions that last FG he was suffering a lack of confidence. Tough words but honest ones. Can't have that kind of liability at that position.

...and why was Bailey sitting on the street again?
