Key Clay Matthews foul arose from “burping,” not body weight

Some within the league refer to the Matthews maneuver as “burping” the quarterback.

I love this comment at the end

It’s appropriate the game ended in a tie because it would be impossible to determine which team got screwed more by the refs.

How many holding calls did GB have?

Too few, but we also got away with a DPI and that OPI could have easily been a noncall. And I'm still trying to figure out how the ref missed Waynes's down by contact when he was looking right at it.

Or the false start on the Lt guard when we got called for offsides

Why does it seem college officials aren't as F'ked up as NFL?

I had liked the poetic justice of the Packers being flagged for their BS Rodgers rule, but it's interesting to see that he was actually flagged for a different infraction (picking up and driving a QB to the ground). I can't recall hearing of this rule before, but presumably it's a point of emphasis change likely because of the dumb Rodgers rule.

im in WI for work and GB fans here cant believe that was a penalty. i reminded them we had a similar hit and got called which kept a drive alive. the eule is in place because Rodgers got hurt, seems poetic it goes back on the pack.

It's poetic, sure, but this league is just WWE at this point.

The more any sport makes their game about subjective officiating calls the less interesting it becomes.   People pay to watch football, not to watch laundry being tossed around on every other play.
