A bright note?

I haven't rewatched any footage, but my impression of O'Neil after he took over for Rashod Hill was that he got pushed back quite a bit (We know he needs to work on his strength), but overall showed good feet and redirected a number of rushes.

I thought he played well and wouldn’t be surprised if he kept the job permanently.

O'Neill's learning curve has been super quick, the guy gets it. He's going to be on this line starting before end of the year.

Haven't seen the replay, but every time I focused on him, I was impressed. Maybe the kid has something.

I only recall hearing his name once - when he first came in.  Always a good sign when an OL goes unnoticed (unless it's the way Clemmings used to go unnoticed by DEs).

He got bull rushed into the QB on his very first play. After that he seemed to play pretty well.
