Just saw highlights, but it seemed like a bit of a mixed bag...
He started out inside, moved outside to cover Waynes injury, where he got the pick six. Caught a punt on the fly on special teams. Pretty good showing for the 1st rounder... Interesting that Kearse came on to play nickel as well.

The pick 6 was a good play, though it was created by Kendricks and Kearse running an overload blitz on the right side. His best play was breaking up a potential TD to Garcon when Garcon wasn't even the man he was covering. He got thrown into the fire with Waynes and Alexander being hurt, but played pretty well.

Pettis (another Rookie) made a few plays on him.

I was impressed with Zimmer. Giving a rookie so much game time. Kinda off script for him. Thought the young man earned some more.

Hughes is now the man. Waynes may continue to start, but Hughes earned it over Mac... Mac A may be the Dime now, but we may go into the 3 deep with Iloka coming in soon. Crazy how much our team is already changing. But Hughes played like a champ.
