But that’s not the definition is it?  I thought Kyries Hebert was the original Mr Mankato and he didn’t even make the team.  Maybe I don’t understand the definition.
lol, actually maybe I don't either. I think they would both qualify, but Boone wasn't even a RB 3 years ago. I think its a bigger stretch, although Beebe is a little guy. Both overcoming long odds.

My understanding was that the "award" was of the Kyries Hebert type as well. All hype just to fizzle out. I think the media has it wrong.

It's the guy that everybody raves about who doesn't end up dping anything...in guessing Beebs gets the nod this year.
