how can this not impact Dejos job?  are they honestly going to pay him 3.5 million to sit on the bench except for ST?  unless i am overestimating GIs ability or we are all seriously underestimating Dejo,  this should be a a week to 2 weeks and Iloka is starting.
Yeah, not sure how that jump was made.  But he could also be more in the coverage LB mold as well.  Dunno.  I think he takes Sendejo's spot and puts him on the cut list.

cut list or take a significant pay cut list since we havent really seen any of the younger safeties really splash in their reserve opportunities.   although Harris is servicable.

Not a PFF guy and don't pay for a subscription (so Im providing 3rd hand) but Dejo's score was quite a bit higher then Iloka's last year.

interesting,  but not really a straigt up comparison since Dejo was surrounded by studs and Iloka was playing on a different team that wasnt as stacked.  we will see I guess.

So....what caused the interest so late as last night?

George Iloka said the Vikings first showed interest in him last night. He got on a flight this morning and got his deal done before practice. He said the team gave him No. 28 for now, but he'd most likely switch it in the regular season.

Cuz he was made available yesterday afternoon?  Or were you thinking Rick had a late night craving and got a bright idea?
